Real Plane Facts
Known as the Hornet, the F/A-18E is a versatile fighting machine.
Running ground attack missions, defending other aircraft and bringing back essential reconnaissance at supersonic speeds.
The Jolly Roger nickname is given to the whole United States Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 103, because of their intimidating skull-and-crossbones on the jets tailfins.
Originally designed by McDonnell Douglas, it’s capable of speeds up to 1,190mph at 40,000 ft. Deployed in both Iraq and Afghanistan this jet has seen extensive action, moving around the world on US Navy Aircraft Carriers.
So if you want to upgrade your thrills to the next level and really see what it’s like to fly one of the best US Air Force jets in existence, order this today!
Guaranteed to be one of the best RC Jets you’ve ever flown – and probably the fastest too! Whether you’re flying in a city park or out in a field, this model really delivers. The real life version of this aircraft is somewhat of a superstar, breaking records for its ability to shoot down enemy fighters and subsequently bomb enemy targets on the same mission – proving its reliability.
It’s maintainability was proved in astonishing style when a Hornet took hits in both of its engines, and still managed to fly back to base over 200km away; and then be up and flying again in a few days! While we don’t recommend shooting at your model aircraft, you can rest assured that its robust design and construction out of the best foam available will be able to take a few knocks.
This model comes Ready to Fly (RTF) and includes everything you need to get flying, just add 8 x AA Batteries for the transmitter.
